I'm getting close to the city now. Vancouver has high mountains to the north, as attested by their lofty silhouettes.
Some lousy pictures I try taking while driving in traffic.
The sky quickly draws its dark shroud over all of Vancouver as I enter into warp speed to my destination. Unfortunately, it has grown too dark and puts an end to my picture taking. I end up stopping at a gas station in the heart of the city to buy a decent road map. The attendent gives me some ideas where to van camp and I'm off in search of the evening's resting spot. I find a really nice neighborhood to scout out, it is about 27 blocks south of city center. After sniffing out a wireless connection I batten down the hatches and retire for the evening.
Tomorrow I'll tour Vancouver Waterfront, BC.
