Northwestern Montana

A 360-degree panoramic view from atop the pass. Sorry, my panoramic photo skills still suck, oh well. You'll have to go there yourself to get the best picture, with your own eyes, that is.

I walk over to the visitor center to check out the temperature. Unsurprisingly, it's a cool 60 degrees at 6,680 feet. I'm getting a little chilled at this point and start thinking about what the temperature is going to be like on the way down with the added windchill from riding on a bike. I hadn't planned for cool temperatures, I didn't think to bring a windbreaker when I planned the trip.

Hoping to descend quickly to shake away the cold temperature, I proceed back down the pass with great speed. I tuck away my camera before pushing off. Taking pictures while riding fast on narrow, winding roads is really stupid, and I'm not feeling especially stupid today.

I finally finish my bike ride just as the sun is setting, its diminished rays are casting beautiful red hues on the surrounding mountain tops. My tour of Glacier National Park via bike is a smashing success. The scenery on the ride was top-notch. The only thing that could have made the experience better was if God Himself descended out of the Heavens. I rate my tour a solid 5 thumbs-up, a perfect score! I -will- come back to Glacier another day to do more exploring.
