"Jet Geyser plays in the hours leading up to an eruption from Fountain Geyser. During its active period, Jet erupts every few minutes up to 20 feet." What do they mean when they say a geyser 'plays'? I didn't see any tinker-toys or lincoln logs scattered around so I don't know what they're talking about. Maybe they mean it splashes about a little bit?

"Fountain Geyser looks like a placid blue pool as its water slowly rises. This geyser gives little warning of its pending eruption, but when it does erupt, it is one of the most impressive geysers in the park. Eruptions reach 10-50 feet and last 25 minutes of more." One of the most impressive geysers? I beg to differ. There's a geyser near Old Faithful that can shoot water 300 feet in the air. Now that's impressive!

"You will probably see Clepsydra Geyser erupting. This nearly constant performer splashes from several vents and its steam can be seen throughout the Lower Geyser Basin. Its name is Greek for 'water clock', and was given because the geyser used to erupt every three minutes. Since the 1959 Hebgen Lake Earthquake, Clepsydra erupts almost without pause [three cheers for the earthquake!]. Sometimes it stops at the end of Fountain's eruption."
