Standing on the lakeshore, looking in 3 directions.

I head back to the van with plans to visit Central Beach.

After a short drive I arrive.

Access to the lake requires a trek up some stairs and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go... oops, to the southern tip of Lake Michigan.

Rip current is a bad thing, especially on a full stomach (note: they left that warning off the sign for some reason).
