The next coaster is Mantis. Mantis is a stand-up coaster with 4 inverted sections.

VIDEOS: Here's a video of the first drop and loop (5.56 MB). Here's another of the ride's loops (1.27 MB).

The coaster has a long line, but at least the sign tells me how long I'll have to wait.

It's too bad we have to wait so long. Imagine if they changed their admission model to where you have to reserve a 2 hour slot. Let's say I buy a ticket for 2pm to 4pm. When I arrive there'll be far less people and I won't have to wait as long in line. Now I can ride all the coasters in 2 hours vs having to wait around all day to fit everything in.

Sadly, the reality is nothing will change unless people refuse to wait. Here I am along with everyone else. What are we all doing? We're waiting. So nothing is going to change.

The loading and unloading area.

When my time comes to get on the coaster, my harness height adjustment is a little too low at its highest position, forcing me to slouch a bit when I buckle in. It isn't enough to cause much discomfort so I stay on and brace myself for the ride. I've never ridden a stand-up coaster before, especially one that inverts you.

The coaster ride turns out to be a blast. The inverted portions are probably my favorite, causing the most stomach sensations of the ride. I also like the quick, tight turns and smooth flow of the train as it passes along the track.

After the ride I quickly walk to the photo booth to check out my picture.
