Sandusky, Ohio

My turn has arrived.

The dual coaster proves to be a competitive coaster. It's fun talking smack and bantering with the other train as we frequently pass each other on the tracks. In the end, we lose but only by a small margin. The park offers no pictures on this ride because maybe it isn't big and scary enough to attract many picture buying customers.

BARF RATING: The coaster was competitive but certainly not scary. It only fetches 1 barf bag.

Ahhh, the Octopus, historically my favorite ride for nausea. At Cedar Point they call it the Monster. There's practically no line so I board the ride pretty quickly. Well, I'm sorry to say, the ride turns out to be pretty tame. Maybe it would have helped if I had another person in the car with me for more weight? I just couldn't get the car to spin very fast.

BARF RATING: With much remorse, I give the Monster 1 barf bag. I'm crushed. I seem to be no longer affected by my once favorite ride.

A nearby rock climbing pillar.

I pass by the Top Thrill Dragster Tower. I notice it slowly wobbles back and forth, the shallow swaying caused by the 5.3 ton coaster that periodically run its rails. The movement is pretty freaky!

VIDEO: Yet another video (2.97 MB) of the Top Thrill Dragster in action. Man, I just love this coaster!
