Lake Placid, New York

After getting my fill of all things bobsled, I jump in the van and head down the road. On the way out of the complex I spot the Biathlon Range.

The range is pretty big.

There must be at least 25 slots to handle 25 shooters.

As luck has it a woman is practicing the sport when I arrive. I observe a few cycles of her shooting three rounds then running 1 lap around the facility.

I think she's shooting a .22 caliber rifle.

Well, that concludes my tour of the Verizon Sports Complex. I find the complex to be not only huge but interesting. And the seemingly unlimited access to the facility is really nice. I rate my tour a solid 4.5 thumbs-up out of a possible 5 thumbs.
