Vancouver, British Columbia

As I ride deeper and deeper into the inlet community, a certain strange feeling overcomes me. The buildings have a certain Blade Runner v.s. Utopia feeling to them. They look futuristic, not sterile, just modern, and are aligned like glass dominoes. I have to admit the sense is addictive. Part of me wishes to live here. Sorry about some of the dark pictures, I'm still getting a hang of my camera's limitations.

I'm sharing the path with more rollerbladers than bikers. I think rollerblading is more popular here in Vancouver. That may explain why riding in the city on a bike is kinda risky. Yes, they have bike routes on the streets but they are far and few inbetween. When riding the city streets, I feel a bit less safe than I had earlier in Downtown Seattle. The folks drive rather fast here.

Cruise ship services are available to those interested in sailing out to English Bay and back.

The Granville and Burrard Bridges respectively.
