Just a little past Lake Pontchartrain my GPS mapping tells me I'm surrounded by swampland.

Soon enough, my surroundings start to become more solid.

More Solid and boring, that is. Ho Hum.

Finally, I'm approaching something of interest. It's a huge bridge.

Ahhh, there's the Mississippi River. I'm passing through Baton Rouge, LA.

Outside of Baton Rouge things turn swampy again.

Not surprisingly, there's lots of swampland in these parts. You know, there must be tons of gaters lurking out there. Boy, wouldn't it be fun to be down there in an airboat? This reminds me, years ago I took an airboat ride in the Florida Everglades. Ahhh, the memories.
