Yellowstone National Park

"To my loving family who w/out this wouldn't B possible. I love you and miss you. Jonathon Deio."

"With 4 kids and only 2 adults, it was a hard hike, but we made it - FINALLY! 7-16-04 -- The Schills p.s. Anyone have any extra water?"

Someone left a colorful bracelet.

While reading the notes I find myself wishing I could just sit down at a table and read everything every one that's tucked inside this little, wonderful message cache. But it's time to go, so before leaving I leave my travel card, effectively adding to the history of this splendid, mountain-top keepsake.

Before leaving I place a large rock atop the box. The container is showing its age because the hinge on the lid is now broken. I'm concerned the high winds that blow in such heightened places could peel off the lid and scatter its precious contents.
