Northwestern Wyoming

Heart Spring. I really like this spring, this one is my favorite so far.

Can't read the sign.

"Beehive Geyser is a favorite performer in this geyser basin, but it can be dormant for long periods. When active, it typically erupts once or twice daily and lasts 4-5 minutes. The narrow cone acts like a nozzle, projecting a powerful water column to a height of 130-180 feet."

Amidst all the beauty there's poop all around, providing a balance of sorts. You just can't give beauty too much control of the scenery.

"If Anemone Geyser is draining when you walk up, wait a few minutes to watch the stages of a typical eruption. The pool fills, overflows, and large bubbles rise to the surface. Suddenly, Anemone erupts 10 feet of more. The water then drains back into the vent with a gurgling sound. The cycle is repeated usually every 7-15 minutes."
