The gondola will take me up 2,476 feet to an elevation of 3,676 feet atop Little Whiteface Peak.

I board the gondola and check my watch. I'm curious how long I'll be riding today so I make note of the time. There is plenty of room in the gondola because I am the only one in it. Seems they let the bikers ride up alone because of all the room their bikes take on the ride up. As I move along up the mountainside I look back at the gondola's base station.

The safety placards are in 4 different languages.

I notice there are animal factoid signs in the gondola. Wildlife education with a view, what a clever combo.
