Okay folks, Boston, MA is now visible in the distance. I'll be there in no time at all.

I cross over the Charlestown Memorial Bridge. It's an interesting, modern looking structure.

After crossing the bridge I go underground on I-93 South. Guess what? I'm so taken with the tunnel, I miss my exit, d-oh!!!

The red dot is where I was supposed to go, the green dot is where I ended up, the blue route is the tunnel itself. Not surprisingly, as you can see, my GPS doesn't work underground. I'm so used to using it, when it doesn't work I get lost in quick order.

No more tunnels for me, no sir! I backtrack my way to my destination via surface streets. I've been to Boston once before years ago, but it was just a day trip and the details of what I did are a bit foggy. I decide whatever I do today, it'll be organized and filled full of the sights and scenes that this town has to offer.
