Wow, the difference between the old and new tires are quite profound. Hmmm, I'm starting to think I got the wrong type of tire.

Ahhh, screw it! I've come this far, there's no stopping me now. I pump 60 psi into the tire for good measure.

The wheel is ready to go on, but, before I do that, I think I'd better do some cleaning and lubricating first.

On goes the wheel. At this point I oil the chain.


Turning my attention to the front of the bike, I need to replace the front brakes. I killed my brakes at the same time I wore out the rear tire, at Whiteface Mountain in NY. First I need to clean and lubricate.
