There's another horse and buggy. It looks like the car is tailgating this one. I hope the buggy driver doesn't slam on his horse brakes because I don't think his buggy has a bumper.

As the afternoon and evening winds down, I find myself travel writing and working on the website. Today turns out to be rather uneventful. As I work in the van, one thing outside really catches my attention. Pickup trucks are king here in Kentucky. Everyone is driving them to Walmart, it seems, and many of them drive with loud mufflers and such. There's also a lot of overweight folks in these parts, more so than in many of the other places I've visited so far on my trip. I guess the food must be really good here?

Tomorrow promises to be a big day for me, I'm going to Mammoth Caves. I visited Carlsbad Caverns in NM as a kid, and I now find myself wondering how Mammoth will measure up. Well, I guess I'll find out soon enough tomorrow. I hit the hay early in proparation for a long day of touring tomorrow.
