Park Street Church

Park Street Church was built in 1809 on the site of an old granary. Its ornate steeple reaches 217 feet into the sky, and for many years the church was the first landmark travelers would see when approaching Boston by land or by sea.

King's Chapel

Completed in 1754, King's Chapel was designed to compete with the best, most opulent churches England had to offer. Possessing one of the most elegant interiors of the colonial era, it does well in the competition of architectural one-upmanship. The last two pictures were taken later in the evening.
