Three signers of the Declaration of Independence are buried here. They are John Hancock, Samuel Adams, and Robert Treat Paine. Additionally, the 5 victims of the Boston Massacre are buried together in the cemetery as well.

Here are some of the more popular folks buried here, from left to right, top to bottom, we have Samuel Adams, the Boston Massacre victims, Paul Revere, Jame Otis, and John Hancock.

The graves are not only old, but many of them contain interesting carvings, including "Death's Head", "Winged Cherub", and "Willow and Urn." Some of them look very weather-worn, and most are somewhat sunken.
