Yowza, the campground hosts are living-life-large. That's a pretty nice RV, even has the pull out sides.

I pull the van up to registration and yes, they have a site for me. As I'm filling out my registration they start turning people away because the campsite has filled. Had I arrived one minute later I would have been turned away. Boy, that was a close one.

I jump back into the van and drive to my site, #66. On the way, I started thinking about why this campground was the last to fill. You would think it'd be the first to fill because it's near both the entrance and Mammoth Hot Springs, one of the parks main attractions. As I drive to my campsite I can now see why. The sites are small and exposed. Plus most folks who are staying have RVs.

My site is okay, it has the basics, nothing more, nothing less. Not that it really matters. I've just paid $14 dollars to sleep in my van, oh well, at least I am inside the park.
