I approach both horses and offer each a carrot. To my surprise, neither horse is interested. I thought all horses liked carrots?

And then I do a double-take. One of the horses is missing an eye! Initially I didn't notice but it soon became clear to me the horse has a disability. It is weird, the socket is all covered over with skin. See how he's looking at me with his good eye in the 2nd and 3rd pics? So I begin to wonder if maybe it was born without an eye? Aside from that the horse looks healthy and happy. The owner/rancher is a pretty good guy/gal, didn't put the horse down because of its disability.

Back on the road again. Ha! "Wise Acres", I think that's funny. Do the Wises' live there?

Near the tail-end of the dirt road I see an opportunity for a nice picture of some mountains in the distance.
