Houston, Texas
A Lunar Lander hangs overhead.
This is a performance stage, the current production offering is called Living in Space. Too bad, I missed the last performance.
Here I am having a little fun with some space helmets. Helmets from 4 of the space programs are represented here; Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Space Shuttle.
Here's a bunch of spacecraft simulators for both kids and adults. I try my hand at a few of them, and in all cases, I crash each and every spacecraft. Oh well, I don't play video games so I don't feel so bad.
Nearby I see this pictoral tribute to Neil Armstrong as well as his trophy, The National Space Trophy. Given by the Rotary National Award for Space Achievement Foundation, one lucky individual per year receives the award for outstanding leadership and personal commitment to space exploration.
