More space stuff. Ummm, I kinda gypped myself on this portion of the tour. I was so busy taking photos, I lagged behind the group and couldn't hear anything the tour guide said. Oh well, a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So, look at the pictures and make up your own words as to what these contraptions may very well be. However, I do know what the last photo is, it's the utility arm they use on the Space Shuttle.

My tour group shuffles back to the tram and soon we're on our way to the next sight. The next sight, however, is a somber one. It's the Memorial Tree Grove. Containing 40 trees, with 38 representing deceased astronauts, it was established in 1996 and began with seven live oak trees planted in memory of the STS-51L crewmembers who perished when Space Shuttle Challenger exploded 1986.

After we pay our respects to the deceased, a little more driving takes us to another outdoor sight, Rocket Park.

Here's an interesting rocket. Little Joe II was a test rocket used during the early phases of the space program in 1964-1966. Apparently back them they opted to use recycled materials from old corrigated metal sheds?
