Today's ride will be an out-and-back affair that will take me through the villages of Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake. After reaching Tupper Lake, I shall head south and bike along the southeastern shore of Raquette Pond. The ride promises to be a rigorous one for I would encounter many rolling hills along the route.
After parking the van at a supermarket near Saranac Lake, I ready myself for long bike ride. As you can see, caffiene will be my riding companion today.
Riding through the village of Saranac Lake I pass by Flower Lake. Where are all the flowers?
I have a ways to go to get to Tupper Lake, 20 miles to be exact. Should I expect to see Tupperware there I wonder? I could use more food storage containers, come to think of it.
