Here are a few more pictures of Simon Pond. I'm sorry to press the point again, but this body of water should be named a lake as well. Why are lakes named ponds in these parts?

I finally stop and have a snack. I'm getting a tad weary and need an energy boost. I've traveled almost 30 miles but still have a little more to go before I can turn around and head back. I want this bike ride to be at least a 60-miler.
