When Elvis started to gain popularity, many conservative folks were all up in arms about not only his music but also about how he moved around on the stage. The press reviled him with biting copy that described him as "appalling lack of musicality", "a sex maniac in public", "vulgarity" and "animalism." Young girls thought otherwise, and with the creation of a new, untapped market of kids 10 and older, the Elvis phenomenon took off like a rocket.

Time to tour the heart of it all, the Hall of Gold. OH-MY-GOD!!!
